The Veterans Integration Center (VIC) is a New Mexico nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans and their families achieve stable housing, financial security, and a renewed sense of community. Through comprehensive support services, VIC works alongside veterans to address immediate needs while helping them build a foundation for long-term success.

Whether you are transitioning from military service, pursuing your education, experiencing housing instability, or simply looking for additional community support, VIC offers programs designed to help veterans move forward with confidence.

VIC programs may include:

Veterans Crisis Line

Best for: Immediate crisis support, mental health support, suicide prevention, and help for those concerned about a veteran or service member.

The Veterans Crisis Line provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for veterans, service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and those who care about them. You do not have to be enrolled in VA benefits or VA health care to receive support.

VA Substance Use Treatment

Best for:  Alcohol and drug treatment, recovery support, counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and referrals to local VA and Vet Center programs.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs offers evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders, including individual and group counseling, medications to help manage cravings and withdrawal, outpatient and residential treatment programs, and referrals through local VA medical centers and Vet Centers.
